6/13/2009 What do you get when you combine a St. Louis phenom, the other boys in his crew, and one shell-shocked audience? You get Nelly and the St. Lunatics rockin’ the stage at Super Jam 2…

On the bill for Super Jam 2, the second to last performance was listed as a “surprise special guest”. Throughout the day, everyone was wondering who it could be…a special MC, big time rapper, or hometown personality to excite the crowd before Jeezy’s performance. While many people laughed “could it be NELLY” due to his proximity to St. Louis, few could imagine that he and Ali, Murphy Lee, Kyjuan, City Spud, and Slo’Down would come out in grand fashion after a killer video intro…the rest is awe-inspiring history.

Playing to a packed crowd, Nelly and the St. Lunatics sang all their biggest hits: “Country Grammar”, “Air Force Ones”, and “Shake ya Tailfeathers.” With skilled precision, the crew flew across the stage leaving the front-row screaming for more. While the spot-lights were glued to Nelly and Murphy Lee, Ali had a big-time moment taking off his shoes before “Air Force Ones”…

Throughout there high-energy set, the members rapped back and forth to keep their emotions high. While the crowd yelled for more, they certainly delivered. The packed house never let up…
